Physics with a Multi-MW Proton source
General information

The workshop explores both the short- and long-term opportunities for particle and nuclear physics offered by a multi-MW proton source such as a proton linear accelerator or a rapid-cycling synchrotron. This source would provide Muon and Electron Neutrino beams of unprecedented intensity, superior slow Muon and possibly Kaon facilities, as well as a world-leading Radioactive Ion Beam facility for Nuclear, Astro- and fundamental physics.

The oral contributions at the workshop are by invitation only but there is a possibility to either display posters or have a written contribution linked to the web-site. The posters will be on display next to the main meeting room for the full length of the workshop with a dedicated poster session on Thursday morning. We strongly encourage anyone who has information of importance not covered, or only partly covered, by the programme to submit an abstract for a poster or/and paper contribution. Any submitted and accepted contributions will serve as input for the summary paper that will be published after the workshop. This paper will be an important input for e.g. the Cogne (Villar) meeting and the CERN Scientific Policy Committee.

The dead-line for registration and abstract submission is 15 May 2004.
